Don’t miss out on Summer Softball Skills Camp! A week full of fun and learning. Camp instruction will be led by former All-American Millersville Alum Aleese Angelo as well as current Millersville Senior Carly Vaughan.

Skills camp + pool time: 9 am-5 pm

*There is a $25 sibling discount. Price of camp includes skills camp, snacks, water refills, and a cinch sac. Camp T-shirts will be available to purchase separately.

As in previous years, there is an add-on option during registration to include time at the East Petersburg Pool after camp ends, from 2 pm-5 pm. Initial registration is for the skills camp portion only; you will need to select to add the pool option during the registration process.

Presales for VIP Starter Packs, wristbands, and game tickets will begin on Monday, May 11th in the CES cafeteria.

Purchasing in advance means you’ll skip the lines at the event, and you can take advantage of a $5 coupon toward any presale order in the cafeteria (one per student). Coupons may also be redeemed at Funfest.

Presale Details:

  • When: May 11th –15th, 8:40–9:00 AM daily
  • Where: CES Cafeteria
  • Funds Accepted: Cash or Check (Payable to CES PTO).

How to Order:

  1. Complete the presale order form (sent home with your student or attached here)
  2. Attach your $5 coupon (one per student)
  3. Return form with payment (cash or check payable to “CES PTO” with student name & grade in memo)
  4. All presale orders will be delivered to students’ homeroom teachers on Thursday and Friday, May 14th and 15th.

Any current 6th-grade student interested in joining the Jr. High Cross Country team for the 2026-2027 school year should join the Schoology Group with the access code: 7WRWQ9KNN2. In addition, Hempfield is offering FREE physicals for next school year for all of your school sports. This will be held at the Franklin Gym on Thursday, May 14, at 8:00 PM. Please bring your Completed Section 5 and Blank Section 6 to the Physical. You can find those forms at the link below. There is no sign-up; you just need to complete your ATS Portal by August 5. Here is a link to show you how to set up the ATS Portal:

Practices are held Monday-Friday, from 3-4:30, at Landisville Middle School. A shuttle bus will provide transportation from CMS to LMS after school. Pick-up will be at LMS Cafeteria Entrance.

We will hold an informational meeting for any rising 7th–12th-grade student interested in playing field hockey in the fall. During this meeting, we will review summer playing and training opportunities, booster club information, and fall schedules (both high school and junior high), and answer any questions. Please plan to attend if you are able.

CES News

This afternoon, a faulty sensor at CES prompted the alarm company to dispatch the fire department. The alarm did not sound, but fire trucks responded to the scene out of caution. There was no safety concern, and normal operations continued without interruption.

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Let's fiesta!

We’re just 10 days away from Funfest, and we wanted to share some fun highlights, special guests, and food trucks you can look forward to this year!

Special Guests & Activities:

  • Razzle Dazzle Balloons will be joining us for top-notch face painting and balloon art.
  • Fairy Hair Sparkles by Zarah will be adding a little extra sparkle to the night.
  • U-Gro Hempfield will be here to do some free hands-on arts and crafts.
  • Baking for Better will be on-site selling delicious sweets and treats! (Founded by a Hempfield student - 50% of proceeds benefit our school, and the other 50% goes to a charity chosen by our teachers!)

Games & Activities You Won’t Want to Miss:

  • Fastball Faceoff – test how fast you can throw! Winner (under 13) takes home a 5 LB Hershey’s Chocolate Bar!
  • Ticket Frenzy – grab as many prize tickets and basket raffle tickets as you can in 15 seconds!
  • Bunny Breakout – a whole bunch of bunnies are trapped in a cage. Free them, and take them home to snuggle!
  • And of course, we can’t forget the Cake Wheel!

Food Trucks:
Come hungry! We’ll have a great lineup including:

  • Gourmet by Julie
  • Lancaster Soft Pretzel
  • Kona Ice
  • Little Cotton Cart

We’ll also have a large tent set up for seating—perfect for relaxing, enjoying your food, and soaking in all the Funfest energy. It’s shaping up to be a great night!
